It was terrific for my son in 1974, and great for my grand-nephew in 2009. Enjoy the friends' daily routines (Toad gets organized by crossing off lists) and their romps through bravery escapades, gardens and dreams. Toddlers will love it, and it stands the test of time.
We just love Frog and Toad. Really, every kid I've read these stories to has enjoyed them. I recommend them for ages 2-6.
DAYS WITH FROG AND TOAD is one of a series of delightful stories about friendship written and illustrated by the late Arnold Lobel. Also available is an audio cassette of Mr.Lobel reading his own stories. My four year old granddaughter LOVES these stories, and so do I.
My main complaint is that at times you have pages that are only pictures and it would have been nice if they could have put some words with each picture. This is a classic. As for the port to a Kindle it actually works pretty well. The pictures are nice. Overall, good. Just not as good as I had hoped for.
I will buy more of this series. We received it as gift. Good present for younger kids. We loved it. It is really interesting book. Nice printing and pictures. Highly recommended.
